Healthy Dark Chocolate Turtles
These 5-ingredient dark chocolate turtles are made with pecan clustered date “caramel” center and covered in rich dark chocolate, perfect for holidays and events!
Ingredients

10 Medjool dates, pitted

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon coconut oil

45 pecan halves

1/8 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions

Pulse dates and sea salt in a food processor until they are completely chopped and form a large ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for 1 hour.

Remove date ball from freezer and unwrap. Pinch off small pieces of the date ball and roll into small balls. Place on parchment paper. Add 3 pecans to each ball and mold the dates around them.

Lay each turtle pecan-side down on the parchment

Melt the chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave until smooth.

Using a spoon cover each turtle with melted chocolate. Once they’re all covered, move the turtles into the freezer to allow the chocolate for 10-15 mins. Serve and enjoy!
