Cinnamon Rolls
These cinnamon rolls are naturally sweetened with dates and contain absolutely no refined sugar!
Ingredients
Filling

1/4 cup dates, finely chopped

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp coconut sugar

1 tbsp pure maple syrup
Dough

2 tbsp coconut oil, melted

1 egg

1 tbsp pure maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cup fine almond flour

1 tbsp coconut flour

1 tsp baking soda

dash of salt
Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine coconut oil, egg, maple syprup, and vanilla. Add flours, baking soda, and salt. Stir well.

Transfer dough to a baking sheet, and cover with parchment paper. Roll into a long rectangle. Remove parchment paper, and top dough with maple syrup, cinnamon, and dates.

Roll dough into a log and place in the freezer for about 15 minutess.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Slice log into about 10 individual rolls and place on baking sheet. Bake for about 13 minutes or until golden brown. Top with your favorite frosting (I used Simple Mills) and enjoy!
